Q. Where are you located?

A.  Parrish House is located at 2531 Rochelle Road in Rockwall, Texas. 

 

Q. Are you just a wedding venue?

A.  No! Parrish House is available for all kinds of events: Anniversary Parties, Engagement Celebrations, Showers, Quinceañeras, Retirement Parties, Corporate Events, Christmas and other Holiday Celebrations, and more!

Q. Do you have required vendors?

A.  While we don't have required vendors, we do have a list of preferred vendors

Q. What is included?

A.  Tables, Chairs and White Tablecloths.

Q. What kind of bar is allowed?

A. You may purchase the alcohol at your cost, but you must have a TABC Certified and Insured Bartender if you choose to serve alcohol at your event. TABC Bartenders must serve all alcohol from behind the bar. No alcohol is permitted to be self-served at guest tables or anywhere on the property where a TABC bartender is not serving the alcohol. All who consume alcohol must show a government-issued identification card. Caterers and/or bartending services will take the responsibility and liability of alcohol service. Security Officer is required if you have alcohol served at your event.

Q. Is there lodging on site?

A.  Although we do not have on site lodging available, we are just minutes away from dozens of hotels with great amenities in nearby Rockwall.

Q. Is the venue handicap accessible?

A.  Absolutely!

​

Q. Do you have convenient parking available?

A.  An adjacent parking area is convenient for you and your guests.

​

Q. Are there decor restrictions?

A.  We do not allow use of the following when decorating: sand, glitter, confetti, birdseed, rice, wish lanterns, and silly string. Nailing, screwing, or stapling onto any part of our venue property is strictly forbidden. No décor may be placed in our water features. Sparklers are allowed for exit as long as there is no active burn ban. Bubbles may be used at departure only.

Q. What kitchen amenities are available?

A. We provide a prep kitchen with a large refrigerator, Ice Machine, large sink, and a warming cabinet.

Q.  May we take engagement and/or bridal pictures on the property?

A.  Absolutely! We are honored that you would want to take such memorable pictures with us. You will just need to schedule your photo shoot.
